About Audrey Gwangwa
A career of more than 26 years in property and conveyancing law, and the only woman to have served as Registrar of Deeds in four provinces.

Audrey led the KwaZulu-Natal Deeds Office from 2008 to 2013 and then the Pretoria Deeds Office, the largest in the country. She knows how a deed is examined because she has run the offices that examine them.
Alongside that work, she has mentored young legal professionals for years, many of them from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Black Conveyancers Association has twice given her its Transformation Award for that work, and in 2022 the Woza Women in Law Awards named her Best Woman Lawyer in Property and Construction Law.
The Audrey Gwangwa Law Academy brings that experience to candidate attorneys preparing for the conveyancing and notarial practice exams: live classes built on past papers, revision before the exam, preparation for the oral, and the AGLA Q&A study guides.
